"Enjoy a Great Summer in Chenggong" special program premieres

On the evening of August 6th, the first special episode of "Enjoy a Great Summer in Chenggong" premiered on the Chenggong District Media Convergence Center platform. In the show, a mysterious guest from the International College of Yunnan Minzu University embarked on a journey to explore the unique culinary delights of Chenggong, such as the famous stewed chicken with Baozhu pear, Chenggong fish cooked with fermented sauce, and pea jelly, in communities like Wanxichong, Wujiaying, and Qibuchang.

It is reported that this summer vacation, the Chenggong District Media Convergence Center, in collaboration with the International College of Yunnan Minzu University, launched the first reality show for college students called "Enjoy a Great Summer in Chenggong." The program consists of four episodes. Through live broadcasting and distributing tasks, international students from South Asia and Southeast Asia are invited to explore Chenggong together. The program showcases the taste of Chenggong, the "Chinese Zodiac Flowers," the awakening of the pottery cat, the "dopamine" summer, and other exciting content. It utilizes the popular and youthful packaging of new media to convey positive values and a spirit of positive energy.

The duration of the first episode is about 14 minutes. The guest received a task to explore Chenggong's culinary delights through a presentation on Chenggong's intangible cultural heritage called "Flower Lantern Chants." In Wanxichong community, the guest introduced unique delicacies such as Chenggong fish cooked with fermented sauce, and stewed chicken with Baozhu pear. In Wujiaying community, various ways of enjoying Chenggong's distinctive pea jelly were experienced. In Qibuchang community, the famous tofu feast was savored, and the guest also had the opportunity to learn from the inheritor of Chenggong's renowned stinky tofu.
