[InKunming--Kunming] Chenggong District will hold its 6th Pear Blossom Festival at Langjiaying community (also called Zhaojiashan) from March 17th, according to a press conference. During the festival, a series of interesting activities will be staged, including the pear garden walking, old pear trees adoption, photography contest, concert and so on.

Compared with previous ones, the main venue of the 6th Pear Blossom Festival is changed to Langjiaying community while the branch venues are at Wanxichong community and Duanjiaying community. The organizers introduced that not merely Wanxichong, Zhaojiashan and Duanjiaying have grown large tracts of pear trees, forming a gorgeous scenery. They hope to boost a better development of Chenggong District by means of changing the main venue this year.

The coming tourists can not only admire beautiful pear blossoms, but also participate in various activities. Namely, visitors can relax themselves from a state of fatigue when appreciate these snow-white pear blossoms. At the same time, organizers also hold plenty of agricultural & sideline products selling events where people can buy some. 

In addition, March is the key period of prevention of forest fires because everything is pretty dry and wind is too strong. The organizer calls that tourists should not carry kindling to the spot.
