Recently, Kunming Area of China (Yunnan) Pilot Free Trade Zone has introduced a number of facilitation measures and policies about immigration and exit-entry to attract foreign talents since Kunming Area has been inaugurated two years ago.

Exit and Entry Administration Department of Kunming Municipal Public Security Bureau fully supports for the establishment of the Kunming Area, which has introduced 10 facilitation measures and 22 measures to improve service management. These 22 measures including expanding the scope of foreign talents applying for permanent residence, relaxing the scope of issuing the long-term visas and residence permits, expanding the scope of foreign talents introduction, improving the level of service management for foreigners.

Exit and Entry Administration Department of Kunming Municipal Public Security Bureau has collected 16 kinds of service that the relevant departments of the Kunming Area of the Pilot Free Trade Zone involved in, such as foreigners' entry and exit, traffic control, work permit, social security, market supervision and customs. It also coordinates with Foreign Affairs Office of Kunming Municipal People’s Government and other relevant departments to build the entire comprehensive service center of Kunming Area into an immigration affairs service complex.
