Kunming Area uses special gift packs to facilitate setting up businesses

Ms. Ren was quite happy to get a beautifully wrapped gift pack containing the original and duplicate of a business license, five indispensable official cachets of an enterprise, tax Ukey and a brochure that details the policies on starting a business from Kunming Area of China (Yunnan) Pilot Free Trade Zone when she went there for enterprise registration on December 22.
“I thought enterprise registration would take me five days, but I actually get it on the spot,” Ms Ren said with a smile. “Our company saves more than 1,200 yuan and a lot of time because of the gift package. It’s really convenient and economical for a company!”
In fact, Ms. Ren’s company is the first to get a gift pack from the Kunming Area and more enterprises will benefit from it as the area aims at reducing the cost of starting a business. These years, Kunming has made efforts to improve its business environment, facilitate business establishment, and improve the satisfaction and sense of gain of enterprises and individuals.
This gift pack is another measure adopted by Kunming to reduce start-up enterprises’ cost and improve service after providing free stamp service and making provident fund account registration convenient. It was 3 days for start-up enterprises to register in 2018 and 2 days in 2019, but now only 1 day is needed.
Next, Kunming will further facilitate setting up businesses and create a more law-based and internationalized business environment.
