The construction of talent apartments for Kunming Area of China (Yunnan) Pilot Free Trade Zone that is expected to cost 120 million yuan is being accelerated recently. 396 talents apartments which include 6 types are being decorated, each covering an area of 30 square meters to 60 square meters. 

In addition to policies on promoting the high-quality development of Kunming Area of China (Yunnan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, new measures to support talents is issued this year. According to these measures, the introduced talents can get a living subsidy of up to 25,000 yuan per month and a subsidy of up to 5 years. Top talents who purchase a house in the Kunming Area can get 6 million yuan to settle down. Bedsides individuals, enterprises can benefit from the measures as well. The enterprise which successfully introduces talents can apply for one-off reward ranging from 10,000 yuan to 200,000 yuan.

Kunming Area of Yunnan Pilot FTZ plans to develop human resource service industry to improve its concentration of talent marketization service. Social capitals who set up human resources service industrial park in this area will get financial support. On the basis of the delegated authority from the higher level, wholly-foreign-owned human resources services can settle down, and the branches of outstanding services at home and abroad will be rewarded with up to 300,000 yuan for settling down. The cooperation between human resource services and enterprises in this area will be encouraged by subsidy. Enterprises that introduce high-end talents in short supply with the help of human resource services can be subsidized 70% of the intermediary fee, and the maximum subsidy for a single talent can be 200,000 yuan. On the basis of financial subsidies at all levels, those who are selected into the national, provincial and municipal human resources service industrial parks will be given a one-off subsidy of 5 million yuan, 1 million yuan and 500,000 yuan respectively,

All kinds of certified talents can not only rent talent apartments according to corresponding preferential policies, but also can apply for green card. Relevant districts should provide service assurance for green card owners, such as housing, housing registration, education, spouses employment, medical care, convenient entry-exit and residence, entrepreneurship support and so on. When it comes to the enrollment of children of newly introduced talents, non-local registered students can enjoy the same treatment as local registered students.
