1st Yunnan Bonded Art Exhibition opened in Kunming Area of China (Yunnan) Pilot FTZ

To facilitate the function of Kunming Area of China (Yunnan) Pilot Free Trade Zone as an International Cultural Exchange Center, the first Yunnan Bonded Art Exhibition was opened in Kunming Integrated Free Trade Zone on August 12. This exhibition will last to August 15 and during this period citizens can have free admission to it.

This exhibition shows over a hundred fine paintings by 60 artists from Malaysia’s Kedah State, Penang and seven provinces of China. Traditional Chinese painting, oil painting, print and watercolor printing are included in the exhibition, showing natural scenery and cultural customs of different regions.

Taking advantage of the bonded mode and preferential policies provided by Kunming Integrated Free Trade Zone, the exhibited works within the zone are free of high tariff and added-value tax, which reduces the customs clearance time and cost.

The bonded art exhibition is an active exploration to enhance the art and culture exchange between Kunming and South and Southeast Asian counties and may help develop a new operation mode for bonded logistics transaction.
This exhibition may also attract related cooperative institutions and enterprises to enter Kunming Area of China (Yunnan) Pilot Free Trade Zone by showing the commercial potential of international bonded art. This is a good chance for the Kunming Area to further develop Institutional innovation and service system.

Yunnan Bonded Art Exhibition is guided by Kunming Area of China (Yunnan) Pilot Free Trade Zone and the Organization Committee of Kunming Economic and Technological Development Zone and is co-sponsored by Ziyun Bluebird - Yunnan Cultural and Creative Exposition and Fine Art and Art Design college of Kunming University.
