Since Oct. 16, 2022, the Baofeng Wetland and Xinghai Wetland have been open to the public for free. Counting the Wangguan Wetland, which already opened on October 1, the total open area of these three wetlands is 1,351 mu (about 90 hectares), and the main road in the open area is about 3,670 meters long.

The opening area of Baofeng Wetland is 866 mu (about 57.73 hectares, formerly Haidong Wetland), from Guangpudagou River to the east bank of Baoxiang River, and the main road is about 1,639 meters long (the remaining part is the farmland and the conservation area for bird and fish, which is temporarily closed). 263 mu (about 17.53 hectares) of Xinghai Wetland is open to the public, with 931 meter-long main roads (the remaining part is also a conservation area for bird, fish and plant, which is temporarily closed). Wangguan Wetland opens an area of 222 mu (about 14.8 hectares), and the main road reaches about 1,100 meters long (the temporarily closed part is the bird nursery area).

To create a civilized and comfortable environment, 3 new portable toilets (2 in Xinghai Wetland and 1 in Baofeng Wetland) and 3 service points (2 in Baofeng Wetland and 1 in Xinghai Wetland) are added. Furthermore, safety warning signs and life-saving facilities are set up in areas such as ponds and lakes.

There are about 1,544 parking spots around the three wetlands, 344 in Baofeng Wetland and 200 in Xinghai Wetland. Wangguan Wetland and Dounan Wetland share about 1,000 parking spots. For more details, please pay attention to the announcement of wetland opening issued by Guandu District.
