On the evening of November 25th, the 2019 Tengchong snow town lights carnival kicked off. More than 40 groups of large and medium-sized lights lif up in turn. 

The lights carnival in Tengchong was divided into five areas: folk custom exhibition area, ice and snow light group area, dinosaur kingdom area, mass entrepreneurship and innovation industrial park exhibition area and indoor dinosaur park exhibition area. The number of professional lighting groups reached more than 40 groups, and over 40 different models of simulated dinosaurs were introduced.

More than 100 inheritors of intangible cultural heritage of Zigong colored lanterns were invited, presenting traditional folk culture and Tengchong characteristics, highlighting Tengchong historical inheritance, and displaying the cultural confidence of Tengchong city.

As the biggest cultural event in Tengchong this year, the successful holding of the lantern fair will open up a new way for spreading Tengchong culture, which will be conducive to improving the reputation and influence of Tengchong city.
