Bangladesh's biggest annual housing show kicks off in Dhaka

The biggest annual show of the apex body of Bangladesh's hundreds of major realtors kicked off here on Monday to showcase flats, plots and other real estate and housing products.
Organized by the Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB), the five-day REHAB Winter Fair 2024 exhibition with 220 stalls this year was attended by a large number of realtors, property dealers and financial institutions.
Siddiqur Rahman Sarkar, chairman of RAJUK (Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha), the development authority of the capital Dhaka, inaugurated the fair at the Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Center.
President of REHAB Md Wahiduzzaman said apart from realtors, banking and non-banking financial institutions joined the fair, expressing the hope that the annual fair will help boost the country's real estate industry.
The REHAB has been arranging the fair since 2001.
