This is Wuliang Mountain Cherry Blossom Valley,

an 4A-rated scenic spot in Nanjian Yi Autonomous County,

Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province.

In the deep winter, among the undulating hills, a vibrant green serves as the backdrop.

From a distance, clusters of cherry blossoms paint the mountains in hues of pink.

The new greenery reflects the rosy glow, creating a picturesque scene.

The “encounter” of tea and cherry blossoms is never rare in Yunnan.

In Lancang Lahu Autonomous County, Pu'er City, Yunnan Province,

Jingmai Mountain is renowned for its ancient tea forests.

Local residents let the winter cherry blossoms,

in full bloom on the trees, grace the tea plantations.

With thousands of mus of winter cherry blossoms in full display,

the distant view resembles radiant clouds.

In the warm winter sunlight, lively pink hues bring joy to visitors.

Blooming not only across the hills and valleys, but also by the lakes.

In Yunnan, winter cherry blossoms not only accompany tea mountains,

but also thrive along the water.

By the Fuxian Lake in Yunnan, the winter cherry blossoms are currently in full bloom. Deep blue waves gently brush against the sandy beaches as pink petals gracefully fall with the wind.

Embracing the landscapes, encountering on the journey.

In Yunnan, winter cherry blossoms bloom casually along roads.

From Yushancheng of Yuxi City, 

to the secondary roads of Guangnan County in Wenshan Zhuang and Miao Autonomous Prefecture,

and to the streets of Hongta West Road in Kunming.

Yunnan's flowers bloom naturally along these paths.

It's not just winter cherry blossoms that “want” to bloom;

in Yunnan, flowers are never in short supply.

In Wangjiazhai Village, Xueshan Town, Fengqing County, Lincang City,

a “Millennium Magnolia” is extending its invitation to spring.

With a trunk diameter of 1.5 meters, a height of 15 meters,

and a canopy covering over 200 square meters,

it is one of the oldest surviving magnolia trees in Yunnan.

Having witnessed a thousand springs, it continues to “narrate” new stories.

Here, the significance of flowers goes beyond mere admiration.

Every gust of wind “tugging” at the clothes of visitors

carries a message of ten thousand flowers.

Flowers are not just a signature of Yunnan;

they are also an integral part of the lives of the people in Yunnan.

In Tiantang State-Owned Forest Farm in Changning County, Baoshan City, Yunnan Province,

over 2000 mu of wild camellia chekiangoleosa Hu

blooming in the original forest at an altitude of 2200 to 2500 meters.

In addition to the beautiful scenery of the mountains covered in red,

the camellia chekiangoleosa Hu also brings significant economic value.

As a germplasm resource area, Changning County

is also actively managing the resources of wild camellia chekiangoleosa Hu,

to ensure the safety of germplasm resources.

“Luckily, red and white coexist as snowflakes reflecting the camellia all day.”

In the Camellia Park of Fengqing County, Lincang City, Yunnan Province,

red as rosy clouds, white as snow, and pink as makeup,

large camellias bloom solemnly.

In recent years, camellias have become a distinctive industry in Fengqing County.

Through the development model of “professional cooperatives + base + farmers + internet,”

they have become the “gold and silver flowers” on the road to rural revitalization.

In Chenggong District and Jinning District of Kunming,

the flower industry is thriving.

Jinning is a major producer of fresh-cut roses in China.

The Dounan Flower Market in Chenggong District is even dubbed the “Flower Capital of Asia.”

In recent years, places like Yao'an County in Chuxiong Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province,

have also developed industries based on fresh flowers.

This is the unique “spring” of Yunnan,

where not only the beautiful scenery of “spring” exists,

but also the hopes of “spring”remains.

Here, “Myriad beings vie for freedom under the frosty sky.”

With the long wind, abundant rain, bright sun, and the moon.

The fields here are filled with joy,

and life here is full of passion.

Flowers are blooming,

while birds are soaring freely.

In Zhenkang County, Lincang City, Yunnan Province,

the winter sun spills through the woods, painting the branches with lush greenery.

Enchanting birds sing melodic songs,

and their lively postures and cheerful tunes,

Are a vivid interpretation of “spring.”

In Kunming, the “spring” of black-headed gulls has been a winter tradition for over 30 years. While it might not be unusual for birds to spend the winter in the city,

the beautiful ecological harmony between humans and gulls is the reason we cherish them so much.

The “spring” of Asian elephants is in the Wild Elephant Valley of Xishuangbanna.

Every dry season, with abundant water sources and food,

a large number of wild elephants frequently visit the valley.

The elephants play in the river and replenish salt here,

creating a warm picture in the winter.
