On December 13, the launch ceremony of Jinning media convergence system was held in the Media Convergence Center of Jinning district, which marked the Jinning Media Convergence Platform officially enabled and the new office area of Jinning Media Convergence Center came into use. It is the first system in Kunming that enables users to watch Jinning TV station on the phone in real time, and provides timely and effective services for people.

In the Media Convergence Center, guests attending the ceremony watched a video about the development of Jinning media convergence, and listened to the report on the construction of Jinning Media Convergence Center and gave some advice about the JinNingRongMei (晋宁融媒) App. 

The launch of JinNingRongMei App will comprehensively improve the communication capability, influence and credibility of Jinning’s news consensus, and will provide strong support for promoting Jinning economic development and social harmony and stability.

Jinning district has started media convergence work since 2015. In recent years, Jinning has actively promoted the operation of the JinNingRongMei App. In the new Media Convergence Center, there are seven departments, including general affairs department, technology department, media operation department, reporter department, media convergence editorial department, public opinion monitoring and analysis department, and market operation department. 

JinNingRongMei App is a platform integrating news, service and information. It has the functions of omnimedia releasing, government service, convenience service and party building service. Information on education, medical care, transportation, and other services can be uniformly collected and released on demand. It is worth mentioning that users can watch all programs broadcast by Jinning TV station all day through the App.

Henceforth, Jinning Media Convergence Center will be well focused on building information service platform. On one hand, the media convergence platform will promote the integrated development of news and publicity work, and also upgrade the talent team. On the other hand, it will conduct in-depth exploration in big data analysis and application, cloud computing, artificial intelligence and other aspects to accelerate the integration of information, party construction, government affairs, and other services and news.
