[InKunming--Kunming] With a total length of 11.783km, the south lake-ring rode starts from Taishi village in Jinning district, and ends at Gaohai expressway. The limited speed is 40 kilometers per hour. The construction began in the latter half of year 2015 and has opened to traffic.

Natural landscapes and traditional fishing villages are located along the road, such as Dianchi lake, wetland park, Taishi village, Xiafang ancient city, etc..

“The beauty of this road was discovered earlier by many people in Kunming than those in Jinning.” Zhu Hong from Jinning said. Before the road officially opening, Kunming people often drove here for sightseeing and called it as “the most beautiful lake-ring road”.

As the side near Dianchi lake is 1.2 meters lower than the road side, people can enjoy the lake scene no matter which direction you drive to. This four-lane road is specially designed for riding and walking. People can feel free to stop at any places to take photos of Dianchi lake. Furthermore, there is a 300-meter-long parking belt enabling citizens to have a closer view.

It needs to be noted that the public should take good care of the environment, and do not throw away cigarette butts, plastic bags and other garbage at will.
