Since 2021, a meticulously crafted 108-kilometer circular Dianchi Green Road has taken shape over four years. It connects a diverse array of landscapes, from "nestling against mountains and overlooking the lake, passing through forests and approaching wetlands, to traversing farmlands and linking villages." Whenever the blue waters reflect the clear sky, and maple leaves intertwine with Miscanthus sacchariflorus flowers, citizens and visitors alike are immersed in this dreamlike scenery. This hundred-mile greenway protects the lakeside ecological space through scientific management, expanding the protected terrestrial area by 2.84 square kilometers, an increase of 10%.

Strolling along the greenway, the gently rippling Dianchi Lake cradles the full autumn sun, its reflection mirroring the swaying Phragmites australis and Miscanthus sacchariflorus flowers along the shore.
