A few days ago, the kick-off ceremony of the "Gull meets Kunming, Romantic Dianchi" 2024 Kunming Dianchi National Tourist Resort "Gull Watching Season" series of activities was held at Kunming Haigeng Park, inviting everyone to explore Dianchi Lake's golden shoreline and experience its unique romance alongside the black-headed gulls.

At the event, the Dianchi Lake Golden Shoreline and the Stone Forest-Jiuxiang Geological Wonder Route, two of Kunming's six premium tourism routes, jointly launched a series of activities and promotional offers for the first time, marking a new chapter in high-quality tourism development for both destinations.

At the opening ceremony, Thai friend Chen Muyun, serving as the cultural tourism ambassador for the "Gull Meets Dianchi" campaign, shared her love for Kunming and highlighted the exciting events of the "Gull Watching Season." She particularly recommended the "Warm Dianchi Shores: Ethnic Charm Encounter" touring show and the "Hi-Gull" ethnic-themed friendship tours, which allow visitors to experience Yunnan's rich ethnic culture while exploring Dianchi Lake. Cartoonist and Dianchi Lake Image Ambassador Li Kunwu shared his 40-year bond with Dianchi and discussed the inspiration behind his mural creations.

Kunming Dianchi National Tourist Resort has prepared nearly 20 exciting events for the upcoming "Gull Watching Season," spanning culture, art, music, and more. Highlights include the "Gull Meets Kunming, Love at Haigeng" New Year's Eve Concert and a New Year Friendship Gathering. Additionally, art-themed installations titled "Gull YE" will be set up at locations such as Dianchi's East Shore, Dongfeng Dam, and Haigeng Dam, offering perfect spots for visitors to take photos and capture beautiful memories.
