On November 18, Kunming hosted the China International Friendship Cities Conference 2024, establishing itself as a central stage for friendly exchanges and marking a new chapter in international cooperation focused on "Common Prosperity Shared Future."

Despite it was his first visit to Kunming, Tulasi Ram Lamichhane, the Municipal Coordinator, Lumbini, Nepal, was deeply captivated by the city. To him, Kunming is a beautiful place, renowned for its year-round blooming flowers and diverse flora. He praised the warmth and kindness of the local people.
"I am thrilled to be here; this is a very important and unforgettable experience for me!" Tulasi Ram Lamichhane excitedly said: "Welcome to visit Nepal!" He hopes that visitors from China will explore the unique and magnificent landscapes on the other side of Mount Everest, experiencing the distinct charm of Nepal and further deepening mutual understanding and friendship between the two countries.
The people of China and Nepal have long shared a deep bond, serving as a model for friendly relations among neighboring countries. This exemplary relationship will continue to promote China-Nepal friendship toward greater heights and broader horizons, creating a brighter future for both peoples and contributing positively to global peace and development.
