To improve the quality of the city and embody the idea of "a lifestyle called Yunnan", the Xishan District of Kunming has been actively promoting the construction of urban ecological landscapes. Recently, ten groups of three-dimensional floral designs have been established, along with the planting of over 200,000 flowers, brightening the streets of Xishan and adding color to the seagull viewing season in Kunming. 

Standing at the forefront, riding the waves.

This group of colorful plants is shaped like a sailboat, showcasing the national flowers of the six countries along the Lancang-Mekong River, symbolizing each country's courage to stand at the forefront of the times and embodying the theme of "One River Unites Six Countries, Hand in Hand for Development".

The adorable and endearing elephant family has also become a unique urban landscape in Xishan, symbolizing the city's love and inclusiveness. "Elephants" to Yunnan, warmly welcoming guests from all directions.

Peacock Spreads Its Wings, Praying for Good Fortune

The peacock is the representative animal of Yunnan, symbolizing good fortune and a bright future. Its noble image and graceful posture have long made it one of the most beloved motifs in floral landscapes. 

Wild mushrooms, Truly Yunnan

Yunnan's wild mushrooms are renowned both domestically and internationally for their uniqueness and are representative of the region's biodiversity. In Xishan, delightful wild mushrooms, whether in clusters or groups, are creatively presented in a series of landscape designs, surprising visitors with their charm.

Flowers Dancing, Butterflies Fluttering, Every Day is Spring Here

While other places may be freezing, the weather in Kunming remains pleasantly spring-like, inviting everyone to come and enjoy a vacation in Xishan. 

Ascending the Dragon Gate, Overlooking Dian Lake

When you visit Xishan, make sure to stop by the Dragon Gate in the Xishan Scenic Area. The expansive view offers a glimpse of Dianchi Lake, Kunming's mother lake. "Once you climb the Dragon Gate, your worth multiplies", and it also brings good fortune!

Blessings are Near, Blessings have Arrived

The design of the "Fu" character harmonizes perfectly with Xifu Road, signaling that blessings are near and blessings have arrived. Wishing you a safe and smooth journey, and all the best in everything you do.

Butterfly Flies, Taking You on a Leisurely Tour of Xishan

On the south side of the tunnel under Xifu Road, a new group of three-dimensional flower beds themed around butterflies has been added, featuring various butterfly-shaped floral sculptures of different sizes, combined with a variety of flowering plants to illustrate the theme of "Gathering in Kunming, Hand in Hand for the Future".

Camellia Blossoms, Kunming Fragrant

The camellia is Kunming's city flower, standing in defiance of the cold winter, competing for brilliance with early spring. Its peak blooming period is mainly around the Spring Festival, truly embodying the idiom "adding beauty to perfection". 

Kunming Landmarks Waiting for You

This collection of landscapes includes landmark buildings such as Yunnan Military Academy, Memorial Hall of Victory of Anti-Japanese War, and Daguan Pavilion, representing Kunming's rich cultural heritage and being popular spots for visitors from all walks of life.

In addition, Xishan District has created a vibrant landscape through plant transplantation, seasonal flower planting, and the combination of plant landscapes with potted flowers. This includes colorful overpass landscapes, separated lane landscapes, three-dimensional flower walls, and floral sculptures, showcasing the city's characteristic of year-round blooming flowers while enhancing the immersive experience of a "flowering" life for residents and tourists alike.

Protecting ecological beauty and optimizing the living environment, Xishan will continuously create and build an eco-friendly, harmonious, and livable urban landscape that is also conducive to business development. In doing so, it will write a uniquely distinctive Xishan practice for the green and beautiful Spring City.
