Four people, including a child, were killed on Saturday in a road accident in Myanmar's commercial city Yangon on Saturday, local fire services department said.
The fatal collision involving a passenger bus, light truck and a taxi occurred at around 7:20 a.m. local time on Saturday near a junction in Mingaladon township of Yangon region, it said.
The passenger bus first hit a light truck on the same direction of the road and then a taxi from the opposite direction of the road, it said.
"Three died on the spot and one was dead at the hospital," Ko Htin Lin Aung, an official from the Pale fire services department, said.
Sixteen females and three males on the light truck vehicle were also injured in the accident, he said.
The victims, including the deceased and the injured, were sent to Maydarwi hospital in North Okkalapa township, the official said.
