Nucleic acid testing is required for three groups of people -- employees in service sectors such as food delivery, express delivery, cleaning, restaurants and transportation; people entering and returning in Kunming within 7 days; those who have a fever or other COVID-19-related symptoms.

Venues including elderly care institutions, welfare institutions, mental health institutions, maternal and infant care institutions, and rehabilitation institutions shall enhance ventilation and disinfection, continue to implement closed-off management with strict measures of entry and exit such as urging people to scan venue codes, present negative nucleic acid testing results, and take temperature.

No need to show the nucleic acid testing certificates for taking public transportation 

From December 4, Kunming citizens only need present the green health code for taking public transportation, no need to show the nucleic acid testing certificates.

Once again! Yunnan further lowers cost of COVID-19 nucleic acid tests

Yunnan further lowers the price of COVID-19 nucleic acid testing to no more than 15 yuan per person for a single test. The price for batch testing, which combines samples from up to 10 people in a single test, should be no more than 3.5 yuan per person. The adjustment will be implemented uniformly throughout the province from December 5, 2022.
