A few days ago, the branch event of 2022 "National Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week" kicked off at the Kunming Economic and Technological Development Zone (Kunming Area of China (Yunnan) Pilot Free Trade Zone). Since the beginning of this year, the Zone has allocated more than 942 million yuan of support funds for enterprises to support the work of "mass entrepreneurship and innovation."

In recent years, Kunming Economic and Technological Development Zone (Kunming Area of China (Yunnan) Pilot Free Trade Zone) has strictly implemented various preferential policies issued by the state, continued to increase financial support and optimized the business environment. The construction of a demonstration base for "mass entrepreneurship and innovation" has achieved important progress, and stimulated market vitality and social creativity to a greater extent.

Since the beginning of this year, the Kunming Economic and Technological Development Zone (Kunming Area of China (Yunnan) Pilot Free Trade Zone) has seen a net increase of 5,633 market entities, provided a total of 3,394 effective jobs, issued more than 36 million yuan in job stabilization subsidies, 2.584 million yuan in vocational skills improvement subsidies, more than 16 million yuan in unemployment insurance funds, 18 million yuan in employment and entrepreneurship subsidies, and allocated more than 942 million yuan in enterprise support funds.

Themed "Innovation drives vitality, entrepreneurship creates employment," the branch event of 2022 "National Mass Entrepreneurship and Innovation Week" aimed to play an active role in enhancing innovation and entrepreneurship capabilities, expanding entrepreneurship and employment space, and cultivating a great atmosphere for innovation and entrepreneurship, creating more employment opportunities, to better transform innovation and entrepreneurship into new energy for economic development.
