With high-temperature warnings across China this summer, Yunnan has become the top destination for tourists seeking to escape the heat.

While the number of tourists in Dali, Lijiang, and Xishuangbanna continues to increase, some tourists choose to avoid the tourist peak and come to Fuxian Lake, about 70 kilometers away from Kunming, to admire the beauty of crystal clear waves and endless lake view. 

There are plenty of things visitors can experience on vacation at Fuxian Lake, such as going sightseeing near the lake, learning about science in the wetland, relaxing in outdoor activities, boating with family, and listening to the wind. The beautiful blue Lake will make your summer refreshing and cool. 

It is known that the area of Fuxian Lake is 216.6 square kilometers, the height is 1723.35 meters, the deepest depth is 158.9 meters, and the average water depth is 95.2 meters. It is China's largest deep-water freshwater lake and an important strategic reserve water resource. The basin covers 674.69 square kilometers and holds 20.6 billion cubic meters of water. With good water quality, it is listed as one of the eight national pilot projects for ecological and environmental protection of lakes and the national key point for ecological and environmental protection of rivers and lakes.
