Lahu Lusheng Dance, the traditional folk dance of Lahu nationality with a long history, was listed as the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage protection projects in 2008. Li Shikai, a local villager of Laodabao Village in Lancang Lahu Autonomous County, Yunnan Province, is a representative inheritor of Lahu Lusheng Dance at the national level. He began to learn Lusheng Dance at the age of 15. After years of practicing, he mastered more than 100 sets of movements of Lahu Lusheng Dance and taught the skills to the locals unreservedly. Traditional Lahu dances have also performed on the rural stage, attracting more and more tourists.
