China and Thailand jointly set up a cross-border talent service center

On February 28, the International Talent Service Center Online Opening Ceremony (Pridi Banomyong International College, Thammasat University) jointly established by Thammasat University and Southeast Asia and South Asia Cross-border Talent Service Platform, aiming to create an international talent training and service innovation model with regional characteristics of Yunnan. Representatives of China and Thailand held an online launching ceremony.
With the implementation of the Belt and Road Initiative, the economic and trade cooperation between China and Thailand is getting closer, and Chinese and Thai enterprises are increasingly in demand for international talents. The establishment of the Center is a practice of international talent training for enhancing the international competitiveness of talents of the two countries and improve their ability, and provide talent support for international cooperation and economic development between China and Thailand.
According to the person in charge of the Department of System Innovation of Kunming Area of China (Yunnan) Pilot Free Trade Zone, Kunming Area is actively building a convenient cross-border talent service channel to promote foreign talents to work in enterprises or start their own business in the area. The establishment of the Center will help Kunming Area to create an international talent development environment.
The representative of Thammasat University said that the Center will be dedicated to cultivating international talents with high level and a comprehensive understanding of the national conditions of Thailand and China.
Lu Jinjing, the founder of Southeast Asia and South Asia Cross-border Talent Service Platform, said that the Center will carry out the construction of “talent database and international talent incubation”, pay attention to the combination of talent training and industrial development, focus on cultivating, gathering and serving international compound professionals with competitive advantages in cross-border e-commerce, new energy, cultural creativity, agricultural science and technology, engineering construction, equipment manufacturing and other fields.
