Recently, in the Baima Snow Mountain National Nature Reserve, Shangri-La, the “Qige” family of Yunnan snub-nosed monkeys had a baby in the Year of the Tiger. The male monkey, “Qige” , moved from the high-altitude area of Baima Snow Mountain to the reserve in July 2021, and set up a new family at Xiangguqing observation point. This little monkey is the first baby born after the formation of the new family.
