The first part of the the15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP15) to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity was concluded in Kunming. From October 18 and November 7, every day from 9:30 am to 9:30 pm, venues of the COP15 are open to the public free of charge. 

Outside the No. 7 main event hall of the Kunming Dianchi International Convention & Exhibition Center, people with masks can enter the venue after scanning the health codes.

You can see a large blue sign board after entering the hall. There is a big logo on it made up by four kinds of animals, including the peacock, panda, butterfly and carp, and a five-petal plum. The COP15 venues have already attracted a throng of visitors after opening to the public

The promotional film“Elephants’ Journey in Yunnan”playing in the main event hall is favored by citizens. This film shows a large number of precious materials in the process of Asian elephants’ northward movements, which captured the classic moment of deep and sincere dialogues between elephants and humans. 

In 1999, Kunming hosted the World Horticultural Exposition, and after 22 years, another international event was held again in Kunming, Yunnan, drawing the attention of the whole world. 

Kunming Bus has opened 4 direct bus lines to the Kunming Dianchi International Convention & Exhibition Center for the convenience of visitors. Passengers are required to wear masks and show the health code to take the bus. 

From October 18 to November 7, 4 direct bus lines depart respectively from Mianshan Bus Station, Beicheng District Bus Station, Wujiaba Bus Station, Qianxing Road Bus Hub to the Kunming Dianchi International Convention & Exhibition Center without midway stops.
