Upon the consent of the state council, China will resume toll collection on national highways from May 6, according to the Ministry of Transport of China. The relevant matters are hereby announced as follows:
First, the time of resuming toll collection on national highways starts from zero o'clock of May 6.
Second, we will continue to implement the policy of free passage of particular vehicles, including law enforcement vehicles, fire engines, vehicles for transportation of fresh agricultural products and the like.
Third, we will ensure that emergency vehicles still enjoy priority in traffic. During the period of prevention and control of COVID-19, special fast track lanes were set up for emergency vehicles.
