Philippine President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos confirmed that a chartered jet carrying former President Rodrigo Duterte to the Netherlands took off on Tuesday night.
The plane is en route to The Hague in the Netherlands, Marcos told a press conference shortly after the plane exited Philippine airspace.
