Cambodia's manufacturers made products worth about 15.2 billion U.S. dollars in 2024, down 7 percent from 16.36 billion dollars in 2023, said a report from the Ministry of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation on Tuesday.
The report said the products worth more than 11 billion dollars were exported to international markets, as the rest of them were supplied to domestic market.
The Southeast Asian country had a total of 2,425 large-scale factories as of last year, employing some 1.1 million workers, the report said, adding that cumulative investment capital in the industrial sector was approximately 20 billion dollars as of 2024.
