A few days ago, a special performance of the national epic drama "Lancang Shui Chang", rehearsed by the Yunnan Provincial Drama Theatre, was held at the Party School of the Central Committee of CPC (National Academy of Governance).

"Lancang Shui Chang" focuses on the main line of forging a strong sense of community of the Chinese nation, and vividly depicts the important historical event in the early days of the founding of New China, when all the ethnic groups on the border of Yunnan, under the leadership of the Party and with the help of the ethnic task force of the People's Liberation Army (PLA), erected the "Monument to the National Unity Oath". The play was selected as a project funded by the National Art Fund for the creation of large-scale stage works in 2020, and since its premiere in 2022, it has toured 50 performances in Beijing, Shanghai, Xinjiang and other places, attracting tens of thousands of viewers and receiving rave reviews.

During the performance at the Party School of the Central Committee of CPC, the audience was deeply moved and applauded warmly. They all said that the play tells the touching story behind the Monument to the National Unity Oath, shows the important mission of national unity in the country's destiny, and powerfully responds to the theme of "forging a strong sense of community of the Chinese nation", and that we should understand the profound connotation of the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important reply letter so that the good words of national unity can be passed on to the next generation.
