The opening ceremony of the 2024 Traditional Sports International Festival was held at 9:00 AM on the 18th at the Haigeng Dam Waterside Platform. The spectacular performances on site attracted numerous tourists to stop and watch.

This event features four disciplines: martial arts, health Qigong, Go, and dragon and lion dancing. A total of 723 athletes from 27 countries and regions are participating, including 353 international competitors. This competition serves as an exchange platform for participants from various countries, allowing guests to fully experience Yunnan's unique ethnic culture and immerse themselves in "A life called Yunnan."

The flag-raising ceremony was held at the opening event.
