Brazil reveals plan to join Belt and Road Initiative: SCMP

Brazilian President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva revealed a plan for Brazil to join the Belt and Road Initiative. Describing a synergy between Chinese interests and Brazil's infrastructure gap, Lula's comments marked the first time the Brazilian government has openly discussed joining the BRI, according to SCMP.
