From today, the "My Spring City Story" graphic and short video collection campaign is officially launched. Hosted by the Kunming Municipal Cyberspace Administration Office and organized by Kunming Information Hub, this event aims to gather voices from all corners and showcase the diverse facets of Kunming. This isn't merely a collection of works; it's an exchange of hearts, a collision of culture and emotions.
We're looking for contributions from foreigners residing, working, or studying in Yunnan. They are encouraged to narrate their Kunming experiences in Chinese, English, Burmese or Lao, using either heartwarming graphics and text or vivid short videos, becoming witnesses to the colorful life of this city.
The competition is divided into graphic and video categories, both of which will undergo meticulous screening by professional judges. At every stage of the event, from submission to public announcement and the final award ceremony, the principles of fairness, justice, and openness will be strictly adhered to. Winners not only gain exposure across various media but also receive substantial prizes as commendation.
Submission of entries will be accepted from February 21, 2024, to September 30, 2024. Participants should upload works tagged with "iKunming" to Cailong Club or post on platforms such as Facebook, X(Twitter), YouTube, TikTok, and mention the official account of Kunming Information Hub for participation.
As the Spring City's flowers bloom undefeated and the stories here await to be told, how can one resist the call? Take up your pen, ready your lens, and let your dreams and recollections of Kunming come alive in touching words and images. Kunming anticipates your contribution to "My Spring City Story."
