Yuan Xiaocen Art Museum (Free Admission)

Yuan Xiaocen is a renowned Chinese sculptor and painter. Just as Qi Baishi is associated with "shrimp" and Xu Beihong with "horses," Yuan Xiaocen's name evokes images of "peacocks" and "cranes." The main and auxiliary exhibition halls span around 1,400 square meters, showcasing over 100 pieces of Mr. Yuan's artwork. The museum aims to exhibit and research the works of modern and contemporary artists in Yunnan.

Dianchi Lake Dam (Free Admission)

Facing the Dianchi Lake and adjacent to the Western Hills, Dianchi Lake Dam offers picturesque scenery throughout the seasons. In spring, it presents gentle ripples on the vibrant waves, while summer brings refreshing breezes. Autumn invites leisurely boat trips, and winter unveils playful seagulls amidst the waves. At Dianchi Lake Dam in Kunming, take a leisurely stroll, lean against the railing, and immerse yourself in the beauty of mountains and waters, relishing in the wonders of nature that exist only in this enchanting landscape.

Haigeng Park (Free Admission)

As the name suggests, Haigeng is a long embankment that stretches across the sea, known as Dianchi Lake by Kunming people. This naturally formed embankment, running from east to west, serves as a picturesque spot for leisure and vacation. Haigeng Park, built upon this embankment, offers various amenities for visitors, including docks for boat rides and speedboats, an amusement park, a lake-view promenade, a wish bridge, a food market, and self-service barbecues.

Yunnan Nationalities Village (Paid Admission)

Yunnan Nationalities Village is one of the second batch of Yunnan provincial-level nighttime cultural and tourism consumption clusters. It showcases the diverse cultures of 25 ethnic minorities in Yunnan, faithfully reproducing their unique villages in a 1:1 ratio.

With its abundant festivities and daily joy, Yunnan Nationalities Village has gained significant recognition and reputation as a national and even global ethnic cultural-themed scenic area.

Yunnan Nationalities Museum (Free Admission)

Located next to Yunnan Nationalities Village on Haigeng in Kunming, Yunnan Nationalities Museum features 16 exhibition halls covering a total area of 6,000 square meters. The museum also includes well-equipped lecture halls, conference rooms, and reception areas. It is the largest ethnic museum in China, showcasing over tens of thousands of exhibits.

Haohong Wetland Park (Free Admission)

Haohong Wetland Park, situated on Huanhu East Road, is in proximity to Haigeng Dam. Here, you can admire flocks of black-headed gulls flying freely while enjoying the enchanting scenery of azure waves and mountains. It offers a picturesque view of the wetland in the mild winter of Dianchi Lake.

The park provides various recreational facilities such as boating and cycling paths, allowing visitors to leisurely enjoy activities like walking with children, feeding seagulls, and appreciating the autumnal metasequoia. Transportation options include bus routes 135 and K31 along the Hubin road.

Xinghai Peninsula Wetland Park (Free Admission)

Located at the intersection of Huanhu East Road and Hubin Road in Guandu District, Xinghai Peninsula Wetland Park boasts complete infrastructure. Visitors can choose to travel by car, ride along the cycling path, or take a leisurely stroll on the wooden boardwalk. This picturesque wetland park is rich in both terrestrial and aquatic flora, adjacent to Dianchi Lake, and accompanied by the Western Hills, offering breathtaking scenery throughout the year.
