Exploring Eryuan through Culture

To delve into the preservation of Eryuan County's historical culture and continue the promotion of the "Internet Celebrities Help Rural Revitalization" series of activities, the second phase of the "Exploring Eryuan through Culture" online theme event will take place from November 6th to 9th. During this period, renowned Internet Celebrities such as "Lantian Xuezhang", "Shenyidu", "Li Yongcun", "Nanqu Wenhua", along with news media organizations such as China. org. cn, Yunnan Network, Yunnan TV, Kunming Information Hub, Sina, and Eryuan County Media Convergence Center, will form an interview group and conduct thematic interviews in Liantie Township, Xishan Township, Qiaohou Town, Niujie Township, and other areas.
This event aims to comprehensively and from multiple perspectives showcase the cultural heritage of Eryuan County. Through the combination of online and offline activities and the collaboration between influential and lesser-known internet personalities, it maximizes the diverse channels of media and internet celebrities, as well as the extensive fan base. Through various forms of media such as images, videos, and live broadcasts, it actively promotes and popularizes Eryuan's historical and cultural tourism resources. In addition to discovering and nurturing outstanding talents who yearn for and love Eryuan, the event seeks to expand Eryuan's external influence and explore new approaches to rural revitalization through the "Internet+Celebrity Effect," thereby writing a new chapter in rural revitalization.
The second phase of the "Exploring Eryuan through Culture" online theme event will continue the characteristics of the first phase. It will focus on the theme of "Exploring Eryuan through Culture" and conduct interviews in four thematic areas: "Journey of Humanistic Spirit," "Journey of Folk Art," "Journey of Salt and Horse Culture," and "Journey of Hot Spring Culture." Through these themes, it will deeply promote the historical and cultural characteristics of Liantie Township, Xishan Township, Qiaohou Town, and Niujie Township in Eryuan County.
Over the four days of interviews, participants will experience the charm of Eryuan's ecological environment at Niaodiaoshan Mountain. They will visit the Leprosy History Museum in Shanshiping Village, Liantie Township, and learn about the 40-year dedication of Doctor Li Guike in the field of leprosy prevention and treatment, as well as the story of the resilient young student Shi Huang at Shi Huang Elementary School. The "Journey of Folk Art" will take participants into Xishan Township to witness performances of Xishan folk singing, Bai ethnic songs, and the Xishan dance. The "Journey of Salt and Horse Culture" will explore the Qiaohou Salt Mine Ruins, understand the prosperous years of Qiaohou as the "Salt Capital of Western Yunnan" and the starting point of the Salt and Horse Ancient Trail, offering insights into the culture of the Salt and Horse Ancient Trail. The "Journey of Hot Spring Culture" will take everyone to Niujie Township to visit hot spring wells, experience the tradition of boiling eggs in hot springs, and enjoy great time at hot spring Minsu(Chinese-style bed-and-breakfast establishments).
The "Exploring Eryuan through Culture" online theme event, guided by the Cyberspace Administration of Yunnan Provincial Party Committee of the Communist Party of China, hosted by the Publicity Department of the Eryuan County Committee of the Communist Party of China, and co-organized by the Cyberspace Affairs Office of the Eryuan County Committee, the Information Office of Eryuan County, the Culture and Tourism Bureau of Eryuan County, the Rural Revitalization Bureau of Eryuan County, the Federation of Literary and Art Circles of Eryuan County, Eryuan County Media Convergence Center and relevant towns in Eryuan County, and is implemented by Kunming Information Hub.
