Charles: Kunming is a Nice Destination

"Kunming, the capital city of Yunnan Province, is gradually emerging as a significant player in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), assuming a vital role in economic cooperation and cultural exchange," according to Charles (Ranjan Basi), a Nepali international stock analyst and SEO expert.

The third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation took place in Beijing, capturing Charles' keen attention. He believes that the forum has brought new opportunities for countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative, encouraging cooperation and partnership establishment in areas such as infrastructure, trade, investment, and sustainable development. This collaboration not only promotes economic growth and development but also strengthens trade and connectivity among nations.

During his studies in Kunming, Charles developed a deep affection for the city. He views Kunming's strategic geographical location as a pivotal role within the Belt and Road Initiative. Being close to Southeast Asian countries, Kunming, with its modernized transportation network including airports, highways, and railways, serves as a central hub for the initiative.

During his time in Kunming, Charles often took on the role of a tour guide, leading his friends from Nepal to ascend the Western Hills and explore the Kunming Old Street, letting them experience the city's charm. This experience unveiled to him the potential of Kunming in the realms of cultural exchange and tourism. In his own words, he remarked, "Kunming possesses a wealth of culture and diverse ethnic nuances, positioning it as a promising cultural exchange and tourism destination within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative. By strengthening connectivity and enhancing infrastructure, it has fostered the growth of the tourism sector, enabling individuals to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of the diverse cultures of countries participating in the Belt and Road Initiative."
