Wuhua District: Apples, Pears, Pomegranates

Xiangganqing: Soft-seed Pomegranates

Each pomegranate, with its "mouth" wide open, revealing its crimson seeds in a "smiling" manner, is incredibly tempting. Xiangganqing Laomeng Agriculture offers the perfect chance to experience the joy of picking pomegranates, while exploring and immersing in the authentic rural farm life, a great place to relax and unwind. The best time for cherry picking is from April to May, and the best time for apple picking is from August to September.

Bainitang: Red Pears

Bainitang boasts a vast pear orchard spanning thousands of acres. In spring, the hills were covered in pear blossoms, and now they have transformed into abundant fruits. Each branch hangs with juicy and crispy pears, making them irresistibly tempting. The main varieties include Beijing pears, yellow pears, and Anning red pears. In mid-September and beyond, the pears reach their highest maturity, with high sugar content and a delightful taste.

Longqing Huaguoshan Mountain

Longqing Huaguoshan Mountain has excellent geographical conditions and convenient transportation, and is only 15km from Kunming. The area is home to economically important crops such as cherries, apples, peaches, and edible roses. There are no livestock farms or heavy factories, and the forest coverage rate is 72%. Within the area, there are over 900 mu of edible roses, cherries, apples, and peaches, allowing you to enjoy the pleasure of picking all year round. In the golden autumn, Longqing apples enter their ripe period, and a visit to the orchard will surely result in a bountiful harvest.

Zihao Fruit Orchard

Featuring the red general apples (a sugar heart apple), Zihao Fruit Orchard offers a delightful benefit for food enthusiasts—they don't charge an admission fee. You can taste the apples first and then pick the ones you like. It's a perfect treat for food lovers.

Xundian County: Kiwifruits

Address: Yangjiawan Village, Fenghe Town, Xundian County

With a delightful texture and high sweetness, taking a bite fills your mouth with the aroma of the fruit. The kiwifruits in the mountain hollow on the border of Yangjiawan Village in Fenghe Town, Xundian County, are ripe.

Chenggong District: Baozhu Pears

Address: Wujiaying Sub-district, Chenggong District

With emerald green leaves swaying gently, the crisp and lustrous Baozhu pears hang from the branches. They are as fragrant, crispy, and beautiful as jade, offering a sweet and refreshing taste that nourishes the lungs. This is the renowned "Pear King of Central Yunnan" – Baozhu Pear. With the footsteps of autumn's harvest, the Baozhu Pears in Duanjiaying Community are now ripe.

Luquan County: Sunshine Rose Grapes

Recently, the sunshine rose grapes in Jiulong Town have entered the picking season. As you step into the plantation in Jiulong Town, a delightful aroma of fruits fills the air. Beneath the lush and verdant leaves, clusters of sunshine rose grape hang heavily from the vines, resembling lush green and translucent emeralds, brimming with juiciness. They are exceptionally appealing.

Fumin County: Apples

Baihua Villa Shumei Apple Orchard

Baihua Villa, located at an altitude of 2,100-2,200 meters, is situated in a high-altitude mountainous area. There's plenty of sunlight, clear seasons, and significant temperature differences between day and night. The "Shumei Apple" brand is renowned throughout the province and even the whole country.

Picking Route: Take a turn from Kunlu Highway to Zhebei Street and walk along the road to reach the destination.

Woping Apple Base

Fumin Woping Planting Professional Cooperative is one of the larger cooperatives in Luomian Town, Fumin County, Kunming. It is located in Huaguoshan Mountain, Madi Village, Luomian Town. The cooperative has a modern demonstration base for highland apples, covering thousands of acres. The fruits produced have vibrant colors, high levels of fructose and vitamin C, low acidity, strong pectin viscosity, and a sweet, crispy, and refreshing taste. They also have excellent storage capabilities.

Picking Route: The orchard has convenient transportation. Take the Beijing-Kunming Expressway from Xiaotun Interchange to Luomian Exit, which is 29 kilometers away. From Luomian Exit, it is 10 kilometers to Madi Village.

Take the Kunming-Luquan Second-level Highway from Puji Interchange to Madi Village, which is 47 kilometers away. From Madi Village, it is 2.8 kilometers to the orchard.

Dasongbao Yundian Apple Orchard

Yundian Ecological Apple Base is located approximately 30 kilometers from Fumin County and about 60 kilometers from the main city of Kunming, with convenient transportation. The main apple varieties grown in the orchard include the Hongfushi series, such as Huafu, Huahong, and Yanfu. The apples grown at the top of the mountains are large, colorful, sweet, crispy, and have a rich aroma with moderate acidity.

Picking Address: Between Nuozhi Village and Shibangou Village, Luomian Town.

Picking Route: Take the Kunming-Wuding Expressway and exit at Luomian. Follow the Kunming-Luquan Highway (National Highway 108) for 10 kilometers, then turn left at Madi for 1.1 kilometers. After that, make a right turn onto Mashi Road (cement road) and continue for 5.8 kilometers, then make a left turn to enter the Yundian Ecological Apple Base.

Daxiushan Apple Base

The Daxiushan Ecological Premium Apple Base, located next to the Xiaoshuijing Miao Village in Fumin County, has nurtured the formation of naturally sugar-core apples. The mountain spring water and underground water flowing through the mountain valleys provide an ideal growth environment for Daxiushan apples. The cultivation practices of green ecology and scientific management have contributed to the production of high-quality apples at Daxiushan.

Anning: Ziziphus jujubas

Address: Anning City, Qinglong Sub-district, Ankang Village, Ziziphus Jujuba Plantation Base

The Ziziphus Jujuba Plantation Base in Ankang Village, Qinglong Street, Anning City, covers an area of 32 mu. The fruiting season starts from mid-August and continues until the end of September, with a potential yield of up to 15 tons. After four years of cultivation and development, the ziziphus jujuba are now in full fruiting season, with abundant and ripe fruits hanging from the branches.

Jinning District: Kiwifruits

Address: Wayao Village, Kunyang Sub-district, Jinning District

Hidden in the mountains of Wayao Village, Kunyang Sub-district, Jinning District, is a 10-mu kiwifruit orchard. During this period, the Hongyang kiwifruits with red flesh have ripened and entered the market. They are even sweeter than honey and incredibly delicious.

Xishan District: Apples

Address: Xishan District, Tuanjie Sub-district, Tuanjiexin Apple Manor

Tuanjiexin Apple Manor is located in Leju Shuangshan, Tuanjie Sub-district, Xishan District. It is 30 kilometers away from Kunming City and can be reached by car in 50 minutes. It is one of the first apple plantations in Yunnan to introduce the variety called "Ruixue". The "Ruixue" apples have excellent quality and a delightful taste that will surely redefine your perception of apples.
