Sri Lanka's stocks witness noticeable gain during Monday's trading, Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) data shows.
The All Share Price Index (ASPI) of the CSE gained 218.22 points to close at 11,374.64 points at the end of trading, an increase of 1.96 percent from the previous day.
Meanwhile, the Standard & Poor's Sri Lanka 20 (S&P SL20) gained 80.62 points to close at 3,234.27 points.
The day's turnover was 3.3 billion rupees (around 10.3 million U.S. dollars).
The ASPI measures the movements of the overall market, while the S&P SL20 follows the performance of 20 leading publicly traded companies listed in the Colombo Stock Exchange.
