When mentioning "A Life Called Yunnan," some say it's the ever-blooming flowers all year round in Kunming, others mention the scenic beauty of Cangshan Mountain and Erhai Lake in Dali, while some refer to the mystical forests of Xishuangbanna...

In my eyes, "A Life Called Yunnan" is witnessing the Meili Snow Mountain light up with the morning sun as it stands against the mountains, the roaring Jinsha River at Tiger Leaping Gorge waving its waters, the colorful prayer flags dancing with the wind, and the encounter of Nixi Black Pottery with history amid the intense fires... In the "World's Shangri-La," we head towards the ideal land of Shangri-La!

Focusing on aspects such as the natural landscapes, ecological civilization, urban development, historical culture, and more in Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, we are now inviting netizens to widely submit photographs and artistic short videos that are down-to-earth, vibrant, and engaging. Use imagery to depict the beauty of the "World's Shangri-La" and tell stories about it.

1. Timeline:

(1) Submission Period: July 3, 2023 - September 10, 2023

(2) Online Voting: September 29, 2023 - October 8, 2023

(3) Evaluation and Announcement: October 10, 2023 - October 15, 2023

(4) Award Ceremony and Exhibition: November 2023 (subject to specific circumstances)

2. Participants: Photography and videography enthusiasts from home and abroad

3. Submission Content: Reflecting the high-quality development achievements, ethnic unity, rural revitalization, ecological civilization, historical and cultural heritage, natural landscapes, and other relevant themes of Diqing Prefecture.

4. Submission Methods and Requirements:

(1) Submission Platforms: Cailong Community (www.clzg.cn), Douyin, Weibo

(2) Submission Process:

a. When submitting on Cailong Community, participants should select the activity "World's Shangri-La Photography and Short Video Collection Event" to participate.

b. When submitting on Douyin, include the hashtag #世界的香格里拉# and @昆明信息港 to participate.

c. When publishing on Sina Weibo, include the hashtag #世界的香格里拉# and @昆明信息港 to participate.

(3) Both single images and photo series are accepted. Encourage submitting photo series (consisting of at least 4 images). Images should be in JPG format and accompanied by appropriate titles and descriptions.

(4) Short videos, in principle, should not exceed 5 minutes and should comply with the video upload formats of various platforms. They should also include appropriate titles and descriptions.

5. Work Requirements:

(1) All submitted works must be independently completed by the individuals/teams whose names are attributed to them.

(2) All participating works must be shot and produced after the start of the event. Works that have been posted online, on websites, blogs, forums, or other media platforms before this date are not eligible for participation.

(3) Works found to be plagiarized or infringing on the rights of others will result in disqualification, and individuals will be responsible for any consequences or legal liabilities.

(4) Copyright of the submitted works belongs to the authors, while the portrait rights belong to the subjects in the photographs. The organizing committee shall not assume any legal responsibilities.

(5) The organizers have the right to use all participating works for reproduction, exhibition, screening, internet transmission, publishing, and distribution without separate remuneration.
