The crape myrtles, also known as "Bai Ri Hong" (meaning "hundred-day red"), have a long flowering period that usually lasts from June to September. Additionally, the trunk of the crape myrtle is quite unique, with a light and smooth surface that seems to lack "bark". In reality, this is due to the complete shedding of the outermost layer of the tree trunk. When gently touching the trunk, the leaves and flowers will tremble, which is why it is also called the "itchy tree".

On the afternoon of June 10th, the Dopamine Concert played a magnificent melody in the park.

Under the crape myrtles, the Yunfeng Starlight Orchestra brought a wonderful performance.

Under the scorching sun, the crape myrtles bloom wildly in the park, which corresponds to the poem, "green shade in summer, red crape myrtles full of the hall". Currently, there are more than 200 crape myrtle trees in the park, with bright colors including pink, magenta, and white. Among them, the most popular is the two-story Crape Myrtles "Waterfall", which has been attracting a large number of locals and tourists to come and take photos every day recently. Mr. Zhou, a local resident, said, "I've seen so many beautiful crape myrtles' pictures from my Moments of WeChat recently, which really caught my attention, so I decided to come and have a look. This tall Crape Myrtles 'Waterfall' is really photogenic!"
