Yunnan has already entered into a "carnival" mode before the arrival of the "May Day" holiday! It is said that April in Yunnan without the Water Splashing Festival is incomplete. From April 13 to 15, various cities in Yunnan will hold the annual Water Splashing Festival celebration series. In Kunming, Yunnan Nationalities Village, Kunming Sunac Dianchi Houhai, and Qingyuwan Water Park will also hold Water Splashing Festival activities, so people can observe the festival without leaving the city!

From April 12 to 16, Yunnan Nationalities Village will hold the "Dai Calendar 1385 New Year Water Splashing Festival" event, featuring authentic folk experiences such as water-themed fashion shows, water blessings, folk songs and dances, and water sports competitions.

From April 13 to 16, Kunming Sunac Dianchi Houhai will have a whole day of wonderful activities. There will be a pool party at Yulong Square, water polo matches at Xueshijie Square and Jishan Square, and evening song and dance performances as well.

From April 12 to 16, the Qingyuwan Water Park will celebrate a unique Water Splashing Festival in a brand new way. There will be a large-scale Dai dance performance, a Dai king and queen parade, and events such as the Dai green leaf feast and the peacock feast. Come and enjoy a different kind of celebration.

The second Yangzonghai Cultural Tourism Festival and Yunnan OCT Music Water Festival will be held from April 15 to 21 at the Yangzonghai OCT resort. The event will feature a variety of activities including flower appreciation, camping, hot spring bathing, and a water splashing carnival. Compared to previous years, the experience will be even more enriching with a dazzling array of dance and musical performances, as well as national-level intangible cultural heritage shows.
