According to the China State Railway Group Co., Ltd., from April 1, 40 cross-border high-speed rail trains between Hong Kong West Kowloon Station of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link and Guangdong Province, and 22 long-distance cross-border high-speed rail trains outside Guangdong Province will be gradually operated. By then, the number of daily cross-border high-speed rail trains operating on the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link will increase from the current 102 to 164, and 66 stations will directly connect to Hong Kong West Kowloon Station, basically returning to the level of operation in 2019.

The operation plan for the 164 cross-border high-speed rail trains that will fully resume operations on April 1 is as follows: 38 trains between Hong Kong West Kowloon and Guangzhounan (South), 13 trains to Guangzhoudong (East), 49 trains to Shenzhenbei (North), 30 trains to Futian, 8 trains to Chaoshan, 2 trains to Shantou, 2 trains to Zhaoqingdong (East), 2 trains to Changshanan (South), 2 trains to Beijingxi (West), 2 trains to Kunmingnan (South), 2 trains to Shanghai Hongqiao, 2 trains to Tianjinxi (West), 2 trains to Chongqingxi (West), 2 trains to Nanningdong (East), 2 trains to Fuzhou, and 6 trains to Xiamen.

Tickets for the newly opened 62 cross-border high-speed rail trains go on sale at 6:00 on March 23. Passengers can purchase high-speed rail tickets between the mainland and Hong Kong through various methods such as the railway 12306 website (including the App), ticket windows at stations, sales agencies, and automatic ticket vending (taking) machines.

According to China Railway 12306 data, the high-speed railway from Kunmingnan (South) to Hong Kong West Kowloon will be in operation since April 2, and the train number is G410/07. Kunmingnan (South) departs at 8:13 and stops at Guiyangbei (North), Guilinxi (West), Guangzhounan (South), and Shenzhenbei (North), finally arrives at West Kowloon, Hong Kong at 16:53.

The Hong Kong West Kowloon-Kunmingnan  (South) high-speed rail will be in operation since April 1. The train number is G408/9. Hong Kong West Kowloon starts at 12:05, stops at Shenzhenbei (North), Humen, Guangzhounan (South), Guilinxi (West), and Guiyangbei (North), and finally to Kunmingnan (South) at 20:50.

According to the fare table issued by the MTR: Kunmingnan (South)⇋Hong Kong West Kowloon, the adult second-class carriage is 717 yuan, the premium carriage is 1314.5 yuan; the children's second-class carriage is 374.5 yuan, and the premium carriage is 686 yuan.

In addition, according to the Ctrip platform, on April 2, the fare for a direct flight from Kunming Changshui Airport to Hong Kong will be 1,273 yuan, and the transit fare will be between 1,200 and 2,006 yuan.
