Currently, the second comprehensive scientific examination of Yunnan Dawei Mountain National Nature Reserve included moss as a monitoring object. Under the macro lens, the moss “forest” presented a variety of different shapes, reflecting the beauty of the biodiversity of Yunnan Dawei Mountain National Nature Reserve.
The Dawei Mountain National Nature Reserve covers an area of 43,993 hectares, which belongs to the typical marine monsoon climate with mist all year around. The nature reserve, high in humidity with up to 10,000 negative oxygen ions per cubic centimeter, has fostered a wide variety of mosses.
