From March 2020 to August 2021, the story of the "short nose family" of Asian elephants in Yunnan aroused great attention from domestic and foreign media, and the Asian elephant badge was also widely favored at the first phase of the Fifteenth meeting of the Conference of the Parties (COP 15) to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD). Recently, the COP15-themed commemorative badge blind box was unveiled at the venue of the second phase of the COP15 conference in Montreal, Canada, bringing more expectations and surprises to guests and media reporters.

There are 8 designs of badges, which are based on images of rare animals and plants unique to Yunnan Province, including Asian elephants, green peacocks, Yunnan snub-nosed monkeys and Yunnan camellias. There are 3 badge blind boxes in total. 

The overall style of the badge is realistic. In order to make every wild animal image full of details, young designers Zhang Linyi and Zhao Yi strived to be close to reality in design. They hoped everyone can see the important achievements of biodiversity conservation in Yunnan, and feel the vitality brought by these animals.

The badge blind box packaging is mainly in the shape of a small elephant, and the storage bag is made of traditional tie-dye technique of Yunnan, which is not only convenient for storing badges, but also can be used as a pocket change bag. At the "Yunnan Theme Day" event on Dec.15, many media reporters also exchanged their badges, which enhanced friendship and gained surprises during the exchange of favorite badges.

In addition to the badge blind box, the cultural and creative USB "Reliable Elephant" designed with the Asian elephant as its IP has also become a fashionable item for street photography by domestic and foreign media. The cute cartoon image of the Asian elephant is paired with a colorful and richly shaped Yunnan ethnic embroidery hanging belt made guests and media reporters love it very much.
