This time, we will show you 10 bird posters with an engaging scientific introduction out of the "Birds List in Kunming".

Yunnan is abundant in natural species and noticeable for its remarkable achievements in biodiversity protection. Dianchi Lake in Kunming is renowned as "A pearl on the plateau," and its surrounding wetlands have become a paradise for birds.

To show the glamour of rich biodiversity and ecology of Yunnan and Kunming, to heighten the public awareness of Yunnan birds, and to display the excellent ecological environment of Yunnan Province and the image of Kunming city, the "Birds List in Kunming" activity of interactive creation of convergence media works, one of the events from the "2022 Yunnan-Kunming Internet Culture Festival," was launched on Feb 23. This activity is hosted by the Office of the Cyberspace Affairs Commission of the CPC Kunming Municipal Committee and organized by Kunming Information Hub, with the support of Kunming Bird Association and Niao Hui Hua Ying from School of Fine Arts and Art Design of Kunming University.

The English version of the "Birds List in Kunming" posters will be released on Dec 7 and will update on Cailong Club and InKunming website under Kunming Information Hub on a daily basis and every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday on WeChat Official Account of Kunming Images (看昆明). The "Birds List in Kunming" aims to spread the knowledge of featured birds in Kunming and Yunnan to netizens and tell the story of "feathered elves" in Dianchi Lake. Please stay tuned!
