On October 29, the Mkapa African Wildlife Photography Exhibition was held at Kunming Zoo. The exhibition featured 79 images taken by photographers from more than 50 countries around the world, enabling Kunming people to learn about the amazing biodiversity and unparalleled beauty of Africa without travelling far. 

This photography exhibition is organized by Global Environmental Institute (GEI) and African Wildlife Foundation (AWF), and co-organized by Kunming Zoo. It will be on display until December 31. 

In order to raise awareness of public about wildlife protection, GEI and AWF jointly held some science promotion activities in Kunming and Beijing, such as photography exhibition, expert lecture, academic research and so forth.
