Production of rice noodles.(Xinhua)

For Yunnan people, rice noodles can be breakfast, lunch, dinner and even midnight snack. Nowadays, the production of rice noodles has been transformed from small-scale produciton in the past to standardized, processize and sterilized produciton.

At the rice noodle production base of Yunnan Xingqiao Food Co., LTD in Fumin County, Kunming City, Yunnan Province, the 8,000-square-meter factory is divided into different functional workshops, and workers operate on the production line in an orderly manner.

The production of rice noodles daily starts in the afternoon. Before coming to the production workshop, the staff must first get disinfected and wear protective clothing. The rice noodles will be made through the assembly line operation. Every process is mechanized, including high-temperature cooking, molding, cooling, and packaging.
