Since December 2020, Yunnan’s first “National Eco-industrial Demonstration Park” was successfully established, Kunming Economic and Technological Development Zone (Kunming Area of China (Yunnan) Pilot Free Trade Zone) has worked on pollution prevention and control, focused on improving the efficiency of supervision and management, stabilized the ecological environment quality, improved high-quality business environment, and promoted the green, low-carbon and high-quality development of the zone.

Yunnan Yun Shen Industry Group is an enterprise which integrates seedling cultivation, planting, acquisition, technology promotion, deep processing, and sales. In recent years, with the increasing market demand, the original production line has been unable to meet the needs of enterprise production development.

The person in charge of the enterprise introduced that the favorable policies, excellent ecological environment, and efficient business environment of Kunming Economic and Technological Development Zone finally attracted the new factory to settle here. It only took three months from the negotiation to the selection of the factory and then to the trial production.

Luo Jianlin, Chairman of Yunnan Yun Shen Industry Group, said that it is very convenient and simple for them to come to Kunming Economic and Technological Development Zone to handle affairs. “It is expected that we can start official production in September, and the entire production line is estimated to have an annual output value of 100 million to 200 million yuan.”

Kunming Economic and Technological Development Zone has been working on optimizing the service process, compressing examination and approval time limits, and greatly improving the sense of gain of enterprises.

Among the institutional innovation policies practiced in Kunming Economic and Technological Development Zone, there is one called “three-party co-operation”. It is a new environmental protection service mechanism of “government-lead, third-party collaboration, market-oriented operation, and joint governance" pioneered by Jingkai Branch of Kunming Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau, which helps enterprises to find and solve problems in time.

Besides, the Jingkai Branch will do a good job in the environmental assessment and approval of projects, do research and learn about the situation of enterprises, solve their actual needs, and serve them to have long-term development.
