The animal specimens exhibition was held in Exhibition Hall 5, the third floor of the Yunnan Provincial Museum, on July 15. A total of 109 wild animal specimens in 99 sets were presented to the audience to show the beauty of biodiversity.
The number of national first- and second-level protected animal specimens in the exhibition accounted for more than 60%, among which rare specimens such as Przewalski's gazelles, pig-tailed macaques, capra sibirica, crested ibis and so on are displayed. In the exhibition hall, the animal specimens have vivid postures. Some animal habitat scenes have also been designed to show the real life status of wild animals.
This exhibition aims at leading audience to unveil the beauty of animals, meanwhile, enhancing the public's awareness of protecting biodiversity and the ecological environment.
