Busy farming in Weixi County formed an idyllic scenery

Since May, the Lapu River in Weixi County has entered the early rice planting season, and local farmers are busy ploughing, fertilizing, moving seedlings, and transplanting rice in the paddy fields.

As the annual Seedling Planting Festival began, villagers dressed in traditional national costumes sang the song to pray for a good harvest. Some of the villagers were working diligently with their hand-pushed mechanical rice transplanters, while others bent over, transplanting the seedlings in the fields.
