"The Elf Fly from Lake Baikal" photography exhibition kicks off in Kunming

On April 9, the "The Elf Fly from Lake Baikal——A photography retrospective of black-headed gulls coming to Kunming for 37 years" exhibition kicked off in Kunming. The exhibition, hosted by the Yunnan Federation of Literary and Art Circles and organized by the Yunnan Photographers Association and Yang Changfu Studio, will last till April 22.

This exhibition was open to the national call for submissions and received around ten thousand entries. More than 200 pieces of works on display were selected by experts, including historical photos and new works. The exhibition is divided into five parts, including "Beautiful Elf," "Beautiful Migration," "Beautiful Date," "Beautiful Stay," and "Beautiful Moment," presenting a beautiful long scroll of humans and gulls living in harmony.

This exhibition vividly shows the beautiful image of black-headed gulls, keeps a preliminary record of the activity code of the black-headed gull's thousands of miles migration, and relives the happy moments of Kunming people and gulls in love and harmonious coexistence. It also tells a wonderful Kunming story, Yunnan story, and China story of the unbroken "date" of Kunming people and black-headed gulls for 37 years.
