To usher the second part of the 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP15), Cuihu Park, also called Green Lake Park recently has revamped the mosaiculture named "The south of the clouds", which has attracted many tourists and citizens to take photos.

During this renovation, the simulated banyan trees were reshaped by increasing more branches to make them look more lush. Some details were also adjusted including coloring mosses and water flow on the bark surface, showing the forests landscape, according to the person in charge of Cuihu Park Management Office.

To make the mosaiculture present a better artistic landscape, the park uses more than 12,000 pots of flowers and plants of different varieties such as red maple, hydrangea, Scotch broom and so on to decorate the mosaiculture to feast people’s eyes.

At the same time, there added 8 cute and lovely cartoon golden snub-nosed monkeys and 8 cartoon seagulls in the forest. The original sprinkler irrigation and spray system were also overhauled.

Besides, the workers have carried out professional maintenance. In the following days, the park will strengthen the comprehensive maintenance and management, and do a good job in regular pruning and pest control, so as to ensure that the landscape effect of the mosaiculture and prolong the viewing period as well.
